Kevoy Spence
Kevoy Spence owns and runs KS Elite Tiling, a small tiling team working across Croydon, South London and the surrounding areas.
Kevoy started KS Elite Tiling after years of hands-on work in the trade, in a lot of other people's homes. Going out on his own came down to something simple: he wanted to do the job properly, with the preparation, the detail and the finish treated as part of the work rather than the bit you rush at the end.
The work now runs from kitchens and bathrooms through to complex patterns, large-format tiles and commercial jobs. What has not changed is where the time goes, which is mostly the preparation nobody sees once the tiles are on.
The standard is a practical one. Prepare the surface properly, use full adhesive coverage, keep the lines consistent, take care around trims and cuts, and hand the room back tidy.

What you are covered for
Workmanship guaranteed for 12 months from completion. The work is insured for £2 million of public liability and £10 million of employers' liability with Allianz.
The guarantee covers one thing, clearly: defects arising directly from our workmanship. If something we fitted fails because of how we fitted it, we come back and put it right within the 12 months.
Products and materials carry their own manufacturer warranties where they apply.
What the guarantee does not cover
- Pre-existing substrate or structural problems
- Movement in the building
- Plumbing or waterproofing we did not install
- Damage or misuse after the job is finished
- Faults in materials supplied by the customer
These are listed up front rather than buried, because a guarantee is only worth something if you know where it stops.
